For those who love eclectic and unusual shops, you’ll find plenty to explore in and around Ocean Shores, especially in Brunswick Heads. You can find some unusual gifts at the Fabulous Mrs Fox. This shop sells a huge range of giftware including puzzles, canvas totes, purses and even Salt Water Sandals in various colours.
If you’re after some lovely recycled furniture, check out Re Sould. This shop not only sells recycled and restored vintage pieces, but also a gorgeous range of homewares in ceramic, glass and vintage fabrics.

Markets near Ocean Shores
Who doesn’t enjoy whiling away a few hours at a market on the weekend or even during the week? The Brunswick Heads markets are held on the first Saturday of every month from 8 am to 2 pm at Memorial Park alongside the Brunswick River.
This is a typical country market with plenty of local artisan stalls selling a range of goods from clothing, plants and food to candles, soaps and coffee. Once you’ve browsed all the stalls, you can sit and enjoy a yummy snack and then head into the main street to spend the afternoon exploring the local shops.

For something a little different, consider the New Brighton Farmers Market. This market runs every Tuesday between 8 am and 11 am. Situated in River Street, New Brighton, the market is a not-for-profit organisation and every dollar you spend helps to support local farmers and the local community.
At this event, you’ll also find regular workshops, cooking demonstrations, children’s activities and live music. So, not only can you purchase a whole range of fresh produce but you can enjoy some entertainment as well. It’s a great way to get away from the computer and the chores and enjoy a fun-filled Tuesday morning.
