Alstonville Soccer Club was formed in 1987 from the amalgamation of the Alstonville Junior Soccer Club (formed in 1972) and Alstonvilla Senior Soccer Club (formed in 1980). The Alstonville Junior Soccer Club fielded its first team in 1972, with an Under 8's team yet their ages ranged from 4 to 8 years. So they played in this division for some years before progressing to the Under 9's group. This team trained at Geoff Watt oval.
